Katherine Bradford's New Work just recently closed at Edward Thorp Gallery.
The show was comprised of large, complex works that balanced a sense of humor with the sincerity of great painting. The pop- figurative elements combine with a brilliant painterliness and a keen eye for formal abstraction to make bold, subtle, silly, and profound paintings.
